Q.5: In your opinion, how reliant is (each of the above) on science and technology? Would you say very reliant, somewhat reliant, neutral, not very reliant or not reliant at all?
Virtually all (98%) of those surveyed believe that science and technology play an important role in military preparedness (79% very important and 19% somewhat important). Ninety-six percent say science and technology play an important role in intelligence preparedness (76% very important and 20% somewhat). Most think science and technology play an important role in law enforcement preparedness - 57% say they play a very important role and 37% say "somewhat."
Asked how reliant each of these functions are on science and technology, the large majority say they are either very or somewhat reliant on science and technology.
