Joshua H. Weeks

Vice President, Professional Products North America, Environmental Science

Joshua Weeks is Vice President, Professional Products North America for the Environmental Science business of Bayer CropScience.

Mr. Weeks began his career with Union Carbide Corporation in 1973, progressing through several sales, sales management and product management positions. In 1986, he was named Director of Marketing for that company's agricultural business and was a member of the team positioning the company for sale to Rhone-Poulenc Ag Company.

From 1987 to 1993, he was Director of Sales for Rhone-Poulenc's agricultural business. He became Director of Licensing and Business Development in 1993, and three years later was named Vice President and General Manager of Rhone-Poulenc's North American Specialty Business Unit. In 1999, Mr. Weeks was named Vice President of Aventis Environmental Science's Chipco Professional Products group, created following the merger of Rhone-Poulenc Ag Company and AgrEvo Environmental Health.

He assumed his current position after the acquisition of Aventis Environmental Science by Bayer AG in 2002.

Mr. Weeks holds a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, N.Y.

He is married and has three children.
