As General Counsel and Compliance Officer for Bayer Corporation, Dr. Lars Benecke,
Esq. is head of the Legal Community in the U.S.
Dr. Benecke joined Bayer AG in 1997 as Legal Counsel in the Law Department. In 2001,
Benecke became Head of the Polymers Group in the Law Department at Bayer AG. He
was appointed to the post of Global General Counsel and Compliance Officer for Bayer
MaterialScience AG just one year later. Dr. Benecke came to the U.S. in 2008, initially
assuming an administrative function in the Law Department of Bayer Corporation.
