Compendium Submission
New Extended Deadline -- Friday, January 16, 2009
Attention all directors of successful science education programs that are actively helping all American students, including those traditionally underrepresented, to engage and achieve in science in school.
Bayer Corporation, as a national leader in advancing science literacy, improving science education and addressing STEM workforce diversity issues, wants to introduce your program and others like it to our fellow STEM companies.
We, along with other national science and education organizations, have issued a challenge to these STEM companies to get involved and make a difference. And now Bayer wants to share with them examples of model grassroots K-12 science education initiatives, like yours, that could be replicated in other schools/school districts around the country, with the support of the corporate community.
We intend to do this by publishing and disseminating a second volume of the Best Practices in K-12 Science Education Compendium. We strongly encourage you to submit information about your program.
Please review and complete the following documents in order to have your program considered for inclusion, including:
- Key criteria for programs to be considered “Best Practice”
-
Submission Form
- Part I: Contact Information
- Part II: Program Overview
-
- Part III: Validation and Authorization
In addition, if available, please provide a copy of your program’s most recent annual report and/or results report.
We hope that you will choose to participate. The deadline for submitting all completed materials for inclusion in the second volume of the compendium is Friday, January 16, 2009.
If you have any questions or would like further information, please email BayerMSMSForum@bayer.com or call 412-777-2177.
