Bayer Worldwide

Bayer is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bayer AG, based in Leverkusen, Germany, one of the largest industrial concerns in the world. Comprised of about 350 companies, the Bayer Group has subsidiaries or agents in approximately 150 countries.

Through this vast network, products that were once sold only in the United States, such as One-A-Day vitamins, reach markets as diverse as Guatemala, Brazil, China and Poland. Raw materials produced here are shipped to nearby markets like Canada and Mexico as well as more distant ports on the Pacific Rim. At the same time, we market products produced in Germany, Belgium and other locations, providing distribution and customer support. This cooperation allows a multinational customer to purchase the same product here, in Europe and in Asia and be assured of its availability, consistency and quality.

Cooperation also extends to research and development. Research projects span not only continents, but oceans, as some of the best minds in their field team up to change the world with great care. By embracing technology and ensuring an ongoing interchange of personnel, the Bayer Group assures cooperation between companies and countries.
